Hi Rai

Izzy (daughter of Keeley and Digby) has happily settled into her new
home. As a 75% Australian labradoodle she is adorable, with a
wonderful coat and a great temperament!  Full of fun and mischief.
She loves people, especially children who like to cuddle her. Going
for short walks seems to take forever, as we are stopped every few
yards by people, young and old, who think she is beautiful.

At first Izzy was shy with other dogs but now she loves the company of
all dogs  - big and small - young and old.  She even licks tiny
puppies and helps them to socialise.

Izzy is everything you could wish for!

Thank you Rai.

Best wishes
Myles Harrison

Hi Rai

Teddy is doing really well, he measures 16 ? inches at the shoulder so he is certainly not small. He has a lovely easy temperament and wants to please. You were definitely right when you said he would be a good dog for people who had never had a dog before. He can be a bit stubborn but I think that is a poodle trait. He adores children and is very gentle with them. We have started dog training and hopefully will go on to do a bit of fun agility, which I think he will love.
By the way,
Many thanks for the efficient way you have dealt with everything, I am most impressed and of all the hundreds of people who admire him and ask me What he is, I point them all in your direction.
Best regards
Jane Jones

Hi Rai,
Here's a picture of Tigi after her first hair cut!
She is now 19 weeks old and has become a wonderful addition to our family - we love her to bits!
She is full of fun and has such a gentle, sweet, mischievous personality. Best of all though is the way she plays with our 12 year old daughter, as if she too is a puppy, rolling around on the floor and licking her to death!!
Tigi so loves to please which makes training real fun for her and us especially if a piece of sausage is on offer!
We owe so much to you Rai for breeding such wonderful dogs, thank you so much. We won't hesitate in recommending you to anyone interested in a Doodle which is quite often going by the attention Tigi receives when we're out.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Rai,

Well it’s nearly Dougal’s first birthday and I thought I’d share a photo of him so you can see what a handsome boy he is.
He’s incredibly good natured and affectionate and a real joy to have around.
If we’re ever in Herefordshire, we’ll be sure to pop in so you can see for yourself.
Hope you’re well.
Best regards,

Mary

Hi Rai,

Attached a couple of photos of Wizzo and Bilbo who are now firm friends and play endlessly together

Bilbo has settled in so well, we can’t imagine life here without him, he has become great friends with all the dogs but especially Wizzo

He is the most amazing puppy, what wonderful standards you breed to, he is confident, full of life, inquisitive, intelligent and has been a dream to house train.

We were delighted earlier this year when we had Wizzo off you, but must say it has been truly amazing to see the two of them playing so well together, it is a laugh a minute watching them both.

Thank you for all the effort time and trouble you put into producing such amazing puppies.

Kindest regards

Annette ( Taskforce)

Hi Rai
Hope your holiday was good.
We absolutely love Percy or Syd as now called.
He is such a character.  Yet again everyone asks about him and he loves the
attention.
He mixes really well with all the dogs we meet but have to say he gets on
really well with Ozzy and has done since day one!
They play tug of war together with toys and each others ears!!
Ozzy  loves having a friend and we are so pleased with got another one from
you.
Syd will sit and knows to leave food and treats until told that he can have
them.  Also comes back when his name is called.

The nature of your dogs and the way they settle with each other so quickly
is amazing.  Last night with the fireworks we were not sure how they would
be but not a problem they played in the garden with the outside spot lights
on chasing a ball ignoring loud bangs!!
Will try and attach photos for you.
Lovely to hear from you

Best wishes Vanessa

Hi Rai

Hope you are well.
Lara is growing and not a baby anymore, still a sweetie though (apart from her stealing fetish)
So much so that she passed her bronze award on Friday!!! (see below)

I bumped into 2 more of your bundles last week.  I didn't get their names but the family have two girls, i think both are 50/50's. About 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 years old. One is a cafe (lighter than Lara) and the other a chocolate (who look very similar to Lara's mum).

Take care and will keep in touch.

Lara ( 50-50 Fleece Coat)

Hi Ray

sorry for the late reply. Jessica is doing GREAT. By the end of october we will be having her one year in our family. She becomes so familiar with all our little habits, knows which of our cats does not like to play, knows where to go when she hears the cookies box etc etc...
(What she likes most of all is mud and water).
She 's a real family member, the kind of dog that puts a smile on everybody's face.
We wish you all the luck with Grace's litter.

Best wishes from Belgium

Hi Rai

Just wanted to update you on how Teddy is doing.  She has settled in with us really well and has been an absolute joy.  She has the most amazing temperament and just adores people and other dogs.  She has slept through the night and been clean in her crate since day 1! What a clever girl!! She successfully completed puppy training this week and got a certificate and rosette!  She was a real favourite in class with her "bouncing" keeping everyone amused!! She loves playing football with my daughter and is getting quite skilled at dribbling! Everyone that meets her thinks she is gorgeous and we always get stopped so going for a walk can take a while!  We've met several other doodle owners (its like being in club!!) and they all remark how lovely she is.   As you can see from her pictures she is now really fleecy! But I am quite amazed at how low maintenance her coat actually is.  There is zero shedding and despite it being quite long, it doesn't get knotty or matted at all, it also dries quite quickly when wet.  She has doubled in weight and is now around 12" to the shoulder so growing well.   She is such a good natured, happy little dog that she is a real credit to you.

I would like to say a huge thank you for breeding such an amazing girl and for all the help and support that you have given and continue to give us.   I would not hesitate to recommend you as a breeder and we certainly struck gold the day we came across your website.  Please also thank your mum for her additional words of wisdom.  I regularly check both websites as I love the pictures of your dogs and puppies!  If I ever win the lottery I will be straight round with my cheque book!!

Thank you so much for bringing Teddy into out lives.

Hope that all your brood are doing well, both canine and human!

Hi Rai,

An update on our Puff
She is doing very well, and adjusting great to our family. She is is such a lovely outgoing and cheerful puppy.
She is really stubborn and playful and has het own view on some stuff he he. We are going 3 times a week to the dog training school were she is learning a lot, she loves to learn.
Every day we are going to a playing field (for kids, so no other dog droppings for now) to play fetch, because het most beloved activity is fetching a ball..We are throwing it low across the field so she doesn't jump.
Today we went to the vet, for her last vaccination, and we met the groomer...witch is great because she hates the brush, eventho we brush train her 2 times a day.
Also we play mind games with her, searching food and toys across our home. I send some pics of Puff with this e-mail, and hope you like them. We are so happy with our little bouncing puppy.
Yesterday  received an e-mail from the people you gave our mail address to, and told them how happy we are with our puppy, and how great and patient you have been, and how great and well socialized Puff is...
If we ever want another ASD puppy we will go to you first.

Warmly,
Sandy and family from Holland.
ps, is you want to post this review on the website it will be oke by us

Hi, just wanted u 2 know how well Muffin has settled in. We feel like she's been with us 4ever. She's so good, we've not had one "accident" in the house. All our family+friends love her and can't believe how good she is. The best thing is she adores our 3 children and they love her back. She waits at the door 4 them in the morning and is constantly with them, even if they r just watching tv. So thank u so much 4 such a wonderful dog. Carmel+Joe Dervin

Hi Rai, Julie

I just wanted to say how much we are enjoying Hugo. He is a wonderful companion, loving, playful, obedient and just a treasure. He wants to learn new things all the time and is always up for a game of ball which he retrieves willingly. His coat is like soft silk, which he loves being brushed and combed.

He loves my bengal cat who he plays with all the time, that is when he is not playing with my English labradoodle or me.

Thank you so much for breeding such a wonderful companion
, I have told so many people about you as wherever I go he is admired.

Thank you once again.

Sandy Strain.

Pic to Follow Soon

Hi Rai,

So sorry for not getting in touch sooner but I thought I would write to let you know how WILLS is getting on. We purchased him from you in  April from Molly's & Horatio's litter.

He is 6 months now. I cannot put in to words how delighted we are with him. He is a definite part of out family & has brought so much happiness into our home.

I have attached some photos for you.

Thank you so much!

Dear Ray and Julie,
Here is an updated photo from our Bubbles now just over 1 year old!!! He is such a teddy bear,…. Our youngest daughter is crazy about him, and they are really best friends, it’ s so nice to see how sweet they can play together for hours!!! She even tolerated when he chewed two of her barbies!!!! :-)
He is very cheerful still, loves to run with our oldest son in the park, and if we give him the chance and leave anything in the kitchen at “ Bubbles reach”, we can be sure to forget it, when you look its already gone! J
He became exatly as you said, a bigger mini, and his character is great, playful, sweet, and not dominant…. His fleece coat is also stunning and he loves to be pampered and brushed!
Thanks so much for having such nice dogs, each time I look in your website I love to see  the puppies, always so cute!!!!
Hope all is well,
Best regards
Patricia ( Holland)

Hi Rai

Hope you are well and have enjoyed the summer. Lara is growing still and is about to go on holiday to the Isle of Wight :)

I have attached a picture we had done by a dog photographer at a recent Dogs Trust Fun day. Hope you like it!  She had just been to the groomer the previous day, in readiness for the holiday.

I have also recently met Ollie - a full ASD who also lives in Ruislip. He is 2 years old. It was very strange as Lara reacted as though she had met a family member. No excitement and jumping, but she snuggled into him!
I have also found WIllow (was Fraggle) on the Labradoodle forum. It is lovely to see her litter mates grow.

Take care and keep in touch. We will be forever grateful to you for giving us the most wonderful addition to our family

Best wishes to you and yours

Lara - 50-50 Cafe Fleece Coat

Hi Rai

Just an update on my pack!
I have Miley, a miniature 50/50 dark brown labradoodle who is 19 months old and Candy a medium Australian cream labradoodle who is 13 months old, both from yourself. The temperament of both of them is fantastic and I couldn't ask for nicer dogs! They have been easy to train, love cuddles, are playful and I love them to bits. So 6 weeks ago we collected number 3  from you!  Along came Willow, another miniature 50/50 cafe coloured labradoodle and she's now 5 1/2 months old! She's adorable just like the other two! I would only get puppies from yourself because of the temperament of all three of mine. They are all females and I have never had a problem with them being the same sex. Miley, Candy and Willow are well known in our village just because they are such friendly lovely dogs! Candy has won Best Australian Labradoodle at the Labradoodle Trust dog show begining of July this year and I am so proud of her!
My labradoodles are a credit to you and your breeding programme and words can't describe how grateful I am to you for allowing us to give a home to them! I can't imagine life without labradoodles now and the saying of "once you have a labradoodle, you'll soon want another one" is so true, I'd have a house full!
Thanks again for our special babies, Gaynor and family xxxxx

Hi Rai, hope you are well.

Thought we would give you an update on Milo who is now a healthy, bouncy, mischievous 7 month old! He is still bringing a lot of joy to the family and everybody who meets him comments on how beautiful he is. He actually likes nothing more than walking into our village and getting lots of attention and fuss from complete strangers, along with trying to terrorise the village cricket team when they are practising! The attached photograph was taken at our recent family fun photo shoot and I have to say, Milo is a complete natural in front of the camera and thoroughly enjoyed himself.

We will keep in touch and maybe send you more photo's in a few months.

Regards

Hi Rai,

How are you?

Just attaching some recent photos of Scout in the garden.  She is an adorable dog with such an amazing temperament.  Everyone falls in love with her when they see her.

I guess your new litters are keeping you busy.

Hope you and your family are very well.

Best wishes.

Hi Rai,

This is our beautiful Marley who is the apple of our eye!

She's good natured, feisty and highly intelligent. Loves being trained and is good with children and other dogs.  Fantastic that she doesn't molt and low smell. A perfect dog and she is definitely a much loved member of our family.  In fact I'm the most popular grandma in town now we have Marley.

Hope all well with you

Hi Rai

Sorry it's been a while - things have been very hectic at home with the building & gardening work... I have attached a few photo's of Charlie (Chandler).  He settled in really quickly with us and Max, our 8 year old Jack Russell.  He is exactly as you said he would be an absolute show stopper and just great fun.  He's attending puppy training at the moment and learning new things every week... We're taking him & Max off to Cornwall next week , can't wait to see him on the beach...  I will write again in length soon when things have settled down a bit at home..

Fondest regards

With so many positive things to say it’s hard to know where to start! After 4 years without a dog, we decided it was time for another addition to our family. That is where we found Alfie (originally named Hugo by Rai) a 50/50 Australian/English Chocolate Labradoodle.

Where we work and live involves a lot of children so we had to choose a breed that was known especially to be good with them. After a lot of research we came across Labradoodles and whilst searching we also came across Rai, and thank goodness we did! There are many people online breeding and selling Labradoodles but none of them came close to Rai. Unlike many other breeders, Rai understands the breed of dog she breeds and has a genuine care and passion in Labradoodles. At first we were a little apprehensive about paying a deposit online without seeing our chosen pup, but after speaking with Rai (who by the way took time to speak with us on the phone on Christmas Day!!) and reading her site and seeing all the fabulous reviews on forums on the internet we just knew we were making the best decision to purchase a Labradoodle pup from her. One of the many things we liked about Rai was that she also wanted to know about us, she wants to know that her pups are going to a good loving home. Too many breeders unfortunately do not care for the welfare of their dogs. Everything Rai has explained, advised, info on her site and sent via emails have been 100% spot on, so do take note!!! Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves that Alfie is only 4 and half months old! He is so intelligent and quick to learn. By 2 and half months he was toilet trained, he has ever since sat by the patio door to ask to be let out for his business. He sits, waits, leaves, responds to ‘come’, shakes paw, hi-5’s, roly polys, crawls, down, twirls and is still so eager to learn more tricks and commands. We have an 8 year old cat who got on with our last dog but was a little off when Alfie came to us. But within a few weeks they both wind each other up, the cat always wins *grin*. But in general they get on well. Everyone who meets Alfie adores him, he is fantastic with the children who come to visit at our workplace. He walks on and off the lead really great and always likes to stay close by when off a lead which is great. When we visited the vet for his jabs he complemented on how in great health and shape Alfie was in and also what a brilliant breeder Rai is. He has been to puppy parties and really enjoys himself, this is held at the vets once a week and he has played with many other breed of dog, Alfie especially seems to like the bigger dog breeds, including a German Shepherd and Bulldog *smile*. He has had his first trim at a parlour and had just his paws, around eyes and bottom trimmed. My advice would be to get your dog lightly trimmed around his bottom area as sometimes when Alfie pooed, a poo would get caught in a curl and didn’t drop, causing a mess around his bottom and discomfort for him. By having this area trimmed lightly has really made a difference. Alfie coat is beautiful, as he gets older (is just under 5 months now) his coat gets curlier and is so glossy, it amazes me how easy it is to maintain too, he gets a brush every few days. The photos of Alfie just don’t do his coat justice. He has had a couple of showers too and loves this time! He enjoys being shampooed and then goes wild running around the house drying himself off. If we ever get another dog it will be a Labradoodle and without any hesitation will certainly be from Rai again. If you’re reading this and are deciding on a new pup, a Labradoodle from Rai is the perfect family pet. Choosing a pup from Raisdoodles, you will be getting a pup with the best start in life, so cared for, lots of advice given and aftercare too. Thank you Rai for giving us a beautiful and such a happy dog. These photos are of Alfie aged between 4-5 months old.

Thankyou so much Rai for Alfie,he is such a blessing to us

Hi Rai

She is amazing!! It takes ages to go anywhere as we are always being stopped and she of course loves the attention. She is really comical and great company. She is already growing up though.

Thanks for the clarification re the groomers. It was really distressing (although i am a wuss). This one is a while away but is from recommendation so fingers crossed. I intend to send her regularly to the groomers and will do as you say and take a piccy.

Good to get your view re Barf. She isnt very fussy anymore. Has kibble 3 times a day, but then has various toppers (has to be different every meal) eg butchers puppy, natures essential, mackerel, salmon, sardines, chicken.  Also loves cheese, carrots, apple, raw egg (and anything she can get hold of!!!) I will look out for the James Wellbeloved duck as another topper to add to her options.

I have got my order for milbimax and advocate from discount pet care! Vet seems happy we are managing this ourselves.

I have attached some of the piccys of her and Asha. Hope you like them :)

Will keep you updated - we cant thank you enough. Feel incredibly grateful!!!

Hi Rai,

A few more pictures of Wizzo for you from our recent holiday to Devon.
Please feel free to use any of them on your web site if they are of any use.

Has been the easiest dog to train I have ever had.  Fully house trained with
less than a handful of accidents to his name.  Walks beautifully on the
lead, sits stays and down with no problems what so ever.  It seems whatever
we teach him we do it once and he remembers.

We are still trying to work out the logistics of having another pup this
year from the litter you are having from Raggs.  I am guessing they will be
ready at the beginning of August.

Look forward to hearing from you, and still as enamoured with him as we ever
were.

Kindest regards

Annette

Hi Rai,

I have just sat and read all your reviews that owner's have sent in, and would love you to put our wonderful boy on your website.

We took Jaffa into the market today and got stopped by so many people wanting to know what he is, and where did we get him.He has been into Fat Face with me several times, and the girls in there hold him while I shop! He is a fantastic advertisement for your expert breeding, as we have heard there are a few bad examples of Labradooodles which cannot be compared. We are so proud of him.
Just a word of advise to anyone who is having a problem with slow toilet training; we now use a crate at night in the kitchen and he regards it as his "den" and there is no fouling whatsoever. My husband goes to work at 7am. and lets him out in the garden and Jaffa does his business before he has his first feed.
We have completed the first course of puppy classes, and I have been taking him twice a week, as he enjoys it so much. He is the best dog in the class (but I am bias)! The organisers said that they can see the difference in the Australian labradoodles regarding temperament and intelligence.

We would not be without our little boy, and he has changed my life and depression since we lost our old dog in November. I have been told by my GP that Jaffa is a wonderful tonic for me!

Attached are some pictures, as not sure if I sent these to you.

Hope we can see some of the same litter on your review.

Best wishes

Hi Rai,

Happy New Year to you and your family! My apologies for not emailing sooner,....Well, what a wonderful chap we have (Charley is his name)...from the very first week in his new home we haven't had any concerns at all. He has slept through the night since he came (except for a couple of times when he needed to go out but went straight back to sleep) He is clean in the house now and no chewing of expensive furniture (yet!) We have to watch our shoes as he has an absolute passion for them He just cant help himself! He is such a joy! He settled so quickly and is so bright. He is never fazed by anything only curious no matter how many people or noises are around we are able to take him anywhere. He learns very quickly as he wants to please and responds so well to calm instruction with rewards!!!! Yes, he adores his food-we still have him on the same but have introduced a bit of chicken and raw tripe which he loves. He was 9lbs when we first bought him home.....he weighed 18lbs yesterday!!!! He seems to grow, change and mature every day.
The vet was very impressed with him and your meticulous record keeping of care and so are we Rai. We have an amazing little chap (well...who is growing by the minute!) who we absolutely adore and so do our friends and family.

The first picture is of his first experience of snow the week we brought him home- he fills that tub now. The others were taken over New Year. We will send more over the coming year.

I hope this finds you well and thank you for our amazing little chap!

best of wishes to you

Louise and Mark

Hi Rai

Here is an update on Beano now called Ozzy.

He is a fantastic puppy and everyone loves him who sees him.

Ozzy still loves cuddles although getting a little big to pick up!

The Vet said what a great little chap he was.

I hate leaving him at home on his own although not for long as I miss him too much.

Ozzy is a great character and great company and a show off.  He is on his last puppy class next week and loves his social life.

Thanks again

Vanessa

Hi Rai

We can't believe sydney is now a year old...time definitely flies when you're having fun!!!!!!!  What can we say about her??? She is the most special dog we have ever met...obviously we are biased!! |She has the most amazing temperament, very chilled but equally loves to play with her toys and us.  She is very clever, almost too clever sometimes!!!! she is very sociable with everyone and loves to play with other dogs, especially in mud!  She enjoys our company and loves to give kisses, but equally loves her own space.  Dog training was an absolute joy and we carried on until recently as she loves learning.  Sydney has an amazing coat which stops people wherever we go, that along with her fantastic temperament has made friends want one like her!!! She really is an absolute credit to you and her mum and dad!!! Anyway hope this helps, we have attached a recent picture of her, as you can see she evens likes to pose!!!!

Hi Rai

I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know how Bailey is settling in.  Bailey was so upset to leave you and his litter mates, he cried and howled in the car for ages!!  He did eventually realise that we are not that bad and so he calmed down and settled off to sleep.  Sunday afternoon was great fun, the children were sooooo happy to have him.  He explored his new house and had a fabulous time out in the garden with them.  The looks on their faces were absolute pictures to see him running after them – Jonathan said ‘THAT is exactly why we have done this!!!’  It was a very big day for Bailey, so he played for a short while and then slept and then went off exploring and then slept.  It is very hard work when you’re only a little boy!!  We did have two small accidents in the house, but that was definitely more our fault than his!!  Sunday night, I went up to have a bath and Jonathan wanted to watch TV in bed but Bailey again became very upset. We left him just for a few minutes and Jonathan (the big softie) said ‘ this is just too cruel, he has just lost all his brothers and sisters, moved in with four strangers so we can’t expect him to sleep in a strange place on his own!!’  Two minutes later his car crate was in our bedroom with his little bed inside it, I sat with him and calmed him, popped him in (9.45pm) and we didn’t have another sound from him.  At 5am he woke me up with a couple of whimpers, I ran him straight outside to his toilet area and he immediately did a wee and poop.  And we went straight back to bed until 7am!!

On Monday and Tuesday he has been an ABSOLUTE SUPER STAR!!  I have not had one single accident in the house!!  I am religious about taking him out constantly and it has really paid off.  He has a specific area that we have chosen for him to use as a toilet and he has taken to it fantastically – I really believe that if I put in all the hard work now that it will really pay dividends!!  Last night he also slept wonderfully, from 9.30pm until 5.35am (then a quick run outside for a wee and poop) and back to bed again!!  I really couldn’t ask any more of him!!!

I NEVER EVER thought that I would have a dog sleeping in our bedroom, and I do intend to eventually move him back downstairs.  But I didn’t want to stress him anymore than was absolutely necessary.  And to be honest he really makes so little fuss when he wakes and wants to go outside that I wouldn’t hear him from our bedroom and so he would end up having to do it in his play pen which I think would upset him and set us back in the long term.  I think that if we continue like this that he will be properly house trained within a week, which is unbelievable.

The vet has given him a check over and said ‘that he is an absolute credit to you, he also said that he has known a few Labradoodles which have all been somewhat mad and very hard to handle’ – obviously not a Manorborn or Raisdoodle Puppy!!!

Bailey is so placid and relaxed and takes everything in his stride.  And yet he has a wonderful spirit and is already very curious and quite mischievous!!

Thanks a Million!!

Nicky, Jonathan, Luca and Lily xx

Hi Rai

Just thought i'd let you know that Barclay had his Rabies jab today on his way to his passport!

The last time the vet saw  him was for his last vaccination so he was really pleased to see him and was really impressed with how he has grown. He commented how sturdy he is and what a good weight etc he is. He also commented on what a lovely temperament he had. He said he was really really impressed with him. I think he is the first Australian (albeit 50/50) that he has really seen and he said his wife wants a labradoodle and it sounded like he was swaying having been taken under Barclay's spell!

Barclay took the injection really well and didn't flinch :o) He now weighs 10.2kgs so is a good weight but not too much that he can't be picked up for a cuddle!! He only has one baby tooth left too so is properly grown up!!

Anyway - i just thought i'd let you know the vets comments as they are credit to you. I must say i was looking at your website the other day when you still had the pups available and I was sooo tempted to get Barclay a playmate!!

Hope you and Callum are fully recovered now?

Kind regards

Sarah

Hi Rai,

As for what I can say about Zooey, well, she is a complete charmer, you can't help but fall in love with her cheeky but loving personality. She may be small in stature, only 13 inches, but she makes up for her small size with such character. She is a little mischievous trouble maker when she wants some more attention, constantly thinking up new ways to make us laugh, but is also incredibly intelligent and well behaved. She has picked up things so quickly, including the complicated rule of not on the bed when dad is at home but all night cuddles when it's just mum! She can be trusted to have free roam of our place and we have never come back to a mess or anything out of place. All in all she is exactly what we expected and more. She is lively and energetic and has fitted into our lifestyle perfectly.

Here are a few of my favourite photos of her growing up and changing.

"Diva has brought us so much joy and love in the short space of time that we have had her.  Our quality family time with her is fantastic and we all enjoy our walks with her. She has an amazing temperament and is brilliant with the children and she is such a quick learner.  The children have taught her to shake hands and high five and she has made excellent progress in her classes.  All credit to you Rai, we cant imagine life without her and thank you for bringing us such a good friend and companion."

Will keep you posted on her progress Rai

Hi Rai

All is great here Otto is amazing we love him already and he is so much fun.  He is a credit to you. We had a vet check and he was given an A* the vet was very impressed with both Otto and how well cared for he had been by you. He said in his opinion we had been lucky as you appear to be an excellent breeder which was lovely for us to hear and I'm sure it nice for you to hear too.

Many thanks and I will keep you posted...

"Hi Rai, here's some recent pictures of our wonderful Harvey.
He is such a good natured boy, and loved by all of our family & friends.
We always have people heading straight for him when we go out as they all think he looks amazing & comment on how cuddly & fluffy he is!!  And he really is, especially with the great & unusual colouring of the fleecy coat that he has.
Harvey's made such a positive impact here since coming home as a young pup that we wonder why we never had a dog before!!  Such an intelligent & fast learning little chap, really keeps you on your toes!!
He is an absolute credit to you as a breeder, and to the ASD breed in general.
Thank you so much for all the information & help you have given us so far with raising him, when the time comes that we are ready for another dog, we'll be straight back to you for another!!

With best wishes,

Hi Rai,

wow it has been a week today!! ,
time really does fly except when you are counting down the days till he is here lol
he is laying by my feet as usual , but he is such a good boy (mostly lol) he is really easy going and such a joy to have there were really really loud fireworks outside earlier and they were so loud it was like huge explosions , he just carried on chewing his wubba and trotting about , as they do lol he didnt take a bit of notice
so i think bonfire night /week will be fine.
we all love him so so much and the kids are funny when we were at the vets or when someone comes to the door one or both will say look at our awesome puppy and grin and everyone that sees him just melts and he gets fussed and always people comment on how soft he is.
he is very clever too and inteligent as are all doods :)
he will sit now and give his paw and his newest thing is Hi5 which he will do with or without a treat.
i still dont think i have thanked you enough for my dream pup who incidently thinks he is a parrot.... i picked him up earlier for cuddles and he climbed up onto my shoulder and fell asleep
Morgan keeps asking me to wake him up with moodle every night he goes to bed .

thankyou thankyou thankyou thankyou , for breeding such an easy going, happy, and gorgeous puppy ,
i think i have said before but no matter i will say again that the love and devotion you give to each of your puppies shows in the wonderful temprements they have

THANKYOU

Skye is fantastic.  Her shoulder is a lot better, she had lots of rest and has walks every day but not too long.

She is on her second set of puppy training classes, doing well but a lot of work needed on a both sides. More so by me. She is very well behaved in the house, no chewing or accidents.

She has lots of friends young puppies and older dogs. She is full of energy and very playful. She loves playing with my three daughters and very good at football!

 Photos to follow.

Hope you are well.

Lovely temperament and such fun to have around.

Hi Rai,
Just wanted to give you an update on our lovely little Labradoodle since we collected him 2 weeks ago.
Norman who is now 10 weeks old has settled in really well with just the 2 cats left to convince what a lovely friendly buddle of fun he is.
Norman has quickly picked up that the garden is where he needs to go when he needs the toilet and is now fully house trained and has also this week learnt to fetch his ball and bring it back when asked to.
He had his second injection at the vets today so just a week until he can go out into the big wide world. He has had invite to a puppy party which should be fun to see.
Everyone who has met Norman from friends and family to the vets has made alot of fuss of him which he has been more than willing to lap up!!
We are very happy with our gorgeous little boy and can't thank you enough for everything, we are so happy we chose to have a puppy from such a helpful responsible breeder as it has paid off with us now owning such a intelligent well behaved good looking young boy (Not bias honest).Have attached a couple of photos as proof!! Ha ha He love his mini football to play with and the tile kithen floor to lie on.

Hi Rai

Lovely to hear from you!
Everything is going really well with Coco - we all love her so much, she is such a character.. and she is so part of the family, I cant remember how we were before!
She is lying in front of me on the sitting room floor, chewing a chew toy.. she's going through a few of those - she loves to chew!
We have started puppy classes, and she is doing really well, as she's so smart.. mind you, a bit too smart sometimes :o)
She has also found her bark - and likes to use it on guarding us; usually to warn us of a passing car, or even a dangerous leaf blowing in the garden!
I will send you some photo's when I upload some, in the meantime I have just sent one via email thru my phone.
I hope you and your family are all well, especially your lovely little boy..
Lots of love,

Hi Rai!

Do you know I was just thinking I should send you some photos of Dougal.
Well Dougal is an absolute STAR!  what a great wee guy we have on our hands.  He loves going for walks, loves cuddles, is very sociable and loves tummy rubs.  It takes hours to take him for a walk because so many people stop us along the way. He's a big hit at puppy training too although he has a bit of a mind of his own sometimes.  But then we wouldn't have it any other way.
And yes, he's getting big too.  I've attached some photos.
From the top:  Learning lines, Sunday morning lie in, exhausted after puppy training, early days cuddling (look how small he was!) and finally trying to figure out how to jump up on the sofa (any day now).  He is a very handsome puppy indeed

He's booked in for his little operation in a couple of weeks time and I'll drop you a line then.
Very best,
Mary

Hi Rai
How are you?

Just took this of my two little monkies, they so love each other.  Been a fabulous sunny day here and they are tired out after a lovely walk and play with a friends 3 labs!

They are such wonderful dogs, not a bad bone in them - mischievous though!  Nullah loves to steal socks from the laundry basket and race round the garden with Willow in hot pursuit.

Hi Rai,
I just wanted to give you an update on the absolutely wonderful, special, precious and delightful Kiki.
She’s so clever and knows loads of fun tricks, including ‘stick ‘em up’ (stands on her back legs) and ‘high five’ (raises her paw).  If I point my fingers at her and say ‘bang bang’ after ‘stick ‘em up’, she’ll fall over and play dead.  It’s sooo cute!

Kiki and our cat are the best of friends, and she is very social and plays relentlessly with her doggie friends in the local park.  She had a particularly wonderful time yesterday with the snow!  In the summer it was clear that she’s a real water dog as she loves swimming!  Her squeeky Kong ball is her favourite toy — she even sleeps with it!

Thank you so much for such a special dog.  We can’t remember what our lives were like before her!

All the best,
Sarah

Hi Rai

Just a few pictures of our amazing Tegan.  Tegan is a very socialable, friendly dog who enjoys being with other dogs and children.  We believe that the time he spent with you and Callum, made it easy for us to continue to train and socialise Tegan.  Tegan invites children to play with him whenever we meet them outside or when we take him to work!  Tegan has now visited both the nurseries we work in. We recommend you to everyone we meet, who is interested in getting a Labradoodle, and so many people say Tegan is the best Labradoodle they have ever met.

Tegan loves meeting his dog friends in the park and on the marshes, he is always at the centre of the play, and he is by far the fastest of all the dogs he meets, he can chase and be chased for hours.  However, other dogs and children are not his only pleasure.  Remember you said he was a water dog, splashing the water out of his water bowl.  How right you were, he did that here too!  The water bowl is not so popular now, since he discovered he could swim.  He now swims in the river, sea and ponds and if they are not available a puddle will do to play in.  Tegan has become a very competent and strong swimmer he enjoying retrieving his ball and sticks from the river.  Several months ago, we also discovered that Tegan could dive too!  Tegan spotted a water filled tennis ball on the river bed from the river bank, he dived about 20 times to the bottom unitll he brought it to the surface.  We now keep his hair short around his eyes so he can see when he dives.  Spectators are enthralled watching him, he gets lots of cheers and claps.

Tegan is such a joy to be with, not only does he enjoy a wonderful social life outside.  He is a wonderful companion at home, he is gentle, friendly and calming to be with, he loves being with us as much as we love being with him.

Please feel free to use the pics!! We want everyone to know bout him and how much pleasure he brings to us everyday! I'm getting a new computer soon so as soon as it's sorted I'll get some lovey pics sent to you. I hope them images came to you in a file u could save?

Hope you and your family are keeping well.

With our very best wishes
Marcia, Jo and Doug

Hi Rai

Sorry I was going to call you today but thing got away from me. Diesel has been fantastic and is settling in very very well.

He was a perfect little boy on the train, sleeping most of the journey and didn't fret once the whole time. Yesterday he had his first visit to the vet who commented on his lovely healthy and playful disposition.

We already have a routine down and have had just a couple of accidents, but mostly he's ben going out like a well oiled machine. He's eating well and so far no digestive issues (touch wood).

Whatever you do to socialise your puppies please keep doing. Diesel has now had his trip home on the train, 2 bus rides, a train ride, a play date and numerous walks in unfamiliar areas and has not skipped a beat.

This is the most well adjusted puppy o have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Well done!

He's also sleeping through the night and not fussing (except when he is in his play pen and not getting enough attention). Mostly he's just an amazing playful well behaved puppy. I can't believe how special he is - thank you!

Will let you know how things progress.

Dear Rai,
Apart from being the cutest, friendliest dog out walking, she is also incredibly intelligent (and I should know as my other labradoodle is just a normal dog with no great intelligence).  Training her has always been so easy as she just 'gets it' everytime and her great strength of character and bravery just make her a very special dog.  We all love her very much even when she wants to play at 5.00 am!

Hello Everyone, Here are some pictures of Pebbles, I can't believe how much she has changed, especially her coat colour. She has amazing highlights on her head and moustache.

Well I can't imagine life without her, she is a great family and pet and has been very easy to train, she will still dart off to meet other dogs on a walk but is getting better at making choices and sussing out the other dogs. Just is sooo friendly and has never been aggressive.
In certain large park areas I keep her on the lead because she would say hello to everyone and completely forget about me, a slight lack of self control I think! Otherwise she is perfect, she will sit, stay, down, paw, high 5,catch and fetch, loves to play tug of war ,
Still has a tendency to steal things but not as bad as she was.  I'm still feeding her on Royal Canin, but find that about once a month she is sick and wont eat for a few days, so I might look into alternating with something else.
She's been to the groomers but only for a wash and brush, I have scissor trimmed her myself so far.

Good to see your pictures, they are all so different. Gosh the are nearly 1 year old!
Best Regards
Liz and family and Pebbles.

Dear Rai,

Milton is doing great. We love her, love her, love her!!!!!
She is the sweetest dog of the whole wide world. We go out with her a lot.
My mother and grandmother watched her while we were on vacation and they are crazy about her as well.
She is almost potty trained. An accidant sometimes. She has a lot of dog friends. She is very social with other dogs. Big, small it doesn't matter. We have also a cat and they get along a bit. Milton wants to play with the cat but the cat is not really fond of her:) Still the cat is the boss in the house. It is fun to see how the cat reacts to Milton.

Thank you for the wonderful dog. My husband is a bit jealous, he often says I wish I was the dog :)

Best wishes,

Hi Rai

Please find enclosed some updated pictures of Dougal.

Buying Dougal is the best thing we have ever done, we love him so much.  My 10 year son Sam and his pals adore him, they seem to think he is a teddy and cuddle him all the time.
We get stopped on our walks everyday by people saying what a wonderful dog he is and how handsome.  We just love his coat, just like a full ASD even though he is a 50/50.  We have never taken him to have his hair cut as we like the fleece coat so much, we don't brush the coat either, can't believe how easy it is to manage.   My hubby already wants another one, if we do decide to buy another one we will of course come back to youYour dogs are a credit to you.

Thanks for everything xxx Caroline, Marcus, Sam xx  Big kiss from Dougal X

Hi Rai

Sorry I've only just sent update, haven't had email for a couple of weeks.

Miley is fantastic!!! She loves water, soft toys like teddybears, having her tummy rubbed and especially playing with other dogs! In fact she loves other dogs so much that we ended up going back to Rai a few weeks ago and got Candy a medium sized Australian labradoodle in cream who is 16 weeks today. Miley looks so grown up around her although they are practically the same size at the moment! Miley just told her off for attacking the water bowl , which is funny because I remember Miley doing the same thing months ago. Miley is very protective of Candy. Yesterday I was trying to clean Candy's bottom and Miley came and snapped at me to leave her alone! I can't imagine life without them. I laugh everyday at their antics and I've just about given up worrying about the muddy footprints all over the carpets and kitchen floor! They are fantastic dogs, thankyou so much Rai for letting us give them a home!!!
I will have to send photos seperately because can't get them to attach from my iPod. You might get several separate emails I'm afraid!

Hi Rai

Apologies for not having updated you lately. Bobbie is great, everyone remarks how good she is for a puppy. I used to think so too until she destroyed my favourite sandals on Friday! She's about 21 inches tall to the top of her head & I'm not sure whether she's still growing or not...anyway a lovely size, just what I wanted. She has a fabulous nature, extremely friendly & has a real sense of humour, playing chase is her absolute favourite, especially at bedtime!
Just taken a picture, attached - of course she's not really allowed on the settee!! (And as you can see, currently playing Father Christmas!).

I hope all the others are doing as well.

Kind regards
Debbie

Dear Julie & Rai at Manorborn,

I felt it would be interesting and informative to your future puppy families to hear my story and experience in how we came to choose our perfect puppy and breeder.

I really hadn't realised just how much information and types of labradoodles there were around; in look, temperament, fur and even facially. I thought it would be an easy task. I was baffled by the information on the internet.
Eventually I came across an E book which I purchased on Labradoodles. It was a fantastic read; in turn this lead me to various other websites around the world; which then lead me back to Manornborn again!
Great!!! ( I thought!) I was nearly there now and it was a toss up between two breeders, so my search had been condensed greatly.

I was now in search to find one "in real life" instead of looking at photo's on-line. I visited my local parks and saw various sizes and looks to the "labradoodle" but none of them looked like the ones on Manorborn's website that I so longed for; my search had come to a stand still.

I asked everyone I met with a labradoodle over the course of many more months where they had bought their doodles from and took note. Some people said they had paid very little and some had paid more! Some came from the breeders unwell (they said) and some had their puppies couriered to them from the breeders which I had read is not generally considered good practice. I knew I wanted to see the parents of my puppy and where he had lived for his first 8 weeks of life anyway.

I was nearly ready to give up on my search altogether because I found the research all too much and wasn't sure whom to trust. I called Manorborn and another breeder one more time asking both breeders the same question.

"If I can't visit you before I buy a puppy from you. How do I know I'm going to get an authentic ASD like the ones on your website?"

I wasn't prepared to go ahead and spend a huge amount of money on a dog that looked like the ones I'd seen in my local park when I wanted one like the one's I'd seen and read about on-line ...I felt deflated.

I remember when calling you  to ask this question the patience you and your daughter had with me as I told you how I was feeling and you listened and answered all my questions and kindly lead me to another owner of one of your puppies not too far from me. Do you remember that?
I went to see Muddy....I was delighted. There was no question after that; you were the right breeders for me and Muddy looked just like my perfect puppy from your website and
being patient and reading up on choosing the right puppy and breeder really does pay off.

Manorborn in my opinion are the most pleasant and informative Labradoodle breeders to talk to and are truly dedicated to this wonderful breed. I felt rest-assured my puppy was coming from a great breeding stock and it was worth the wait and patience to find him .

We joined Manorborn's waiting list and counted the months then the days.

Our beautiful Diesel was born 3 rd March 2010. Manorborn sent me photo's every week and updated me regularly.

At week five we went to visit; you can imagine how excited we were. Greeted by two wonderful ladies as nice in person as on the phone and walked into this beautiful and clean home to see our new baby and his parents.
Before we went in we had to have our shoes dipped in disinfected and our hands disinfected too. I was pleased to do this. It was another confirmation to me that Julie & Rai were considering the health of the puppies and I now understand why you just can't "turn up!". They take no chances.

On collection day we came home with all the correct paperwork, food, puppy pack and Rai had spent along time with me showing me the health checks of Diesel's parents and beyond. My vet was very impressed by this when I took Diesel for his first check.

I am now a member of "The UK Doodle Club Labradoodle Forum" where I have found new friends and doodle lovers alike and met up with a few too.

In a nutshell...
Thanks Julie & Rai from Manorborn; Diesel is everything we wanted and more!!! I enclose some photos taken today.

Lots Of Love

Hi Rai, sorry for not keeping in touch sooner.

Coco is turning out to be the best thing we have done in a long time. She is a real part of the family. Even my husband who was a self proclaimed 'not a dog person' is smitten with her. She has a lovely temperament, the boys play with her, chase her round, handle her and she is always completely friendly to them.

Lots of people stop me to ask me about her when we are out walking.

I have been taking her to training classes and she is great with other dogs, loves to play with them but is learning when others are not so interested. She is easy to train and responds well to instruction.

She is a beautiful looking dog with tufts of blond streaks on her head which everyone accuses me of highlighting!!

I have attached a photo taken of her after the boys dressed her up in a t-shirt they made at school!

Hope things are going well for you and you are continuing to breed such lovely dogs as Coco.

Best Regards
Josephine

Hi Rai

I Cant believe how time flies, and Lola is now 9 months old.
She is an absolute delight....quite mischievious but 100% loving and kind.
She loves a good chew, especially toilet rolls, sponges and the cats (!)
She loves coming for a run with me and swimming in the canal.
She had her first hair cut a month or so ago.... her coat has grown back quite a bit now...

Best wishes

Tig

Hi All

Archie is growing up very quickly! He has has his third haircut this week, we keep his gorgeous coat a couple of inches long as he spends so much time with the horses that he would get bits stuck in it!!!
He loves to play with Rumpy and cadbury our horses and has made many friends at dog training - we still go every week to keep him entertained and are thinking about doing some rally classes.
He is very obedient and loves to swim and fetch.
I've put some pictures of him below.
We love him!
Thanks Rai

Hi Julie and Rai,

I haven't sent you any photo's recently so thought it was about time i did.

Its been nearly three years now since we first met you both and your beautiful Labradoodles and pick up our wonderful doodle who is such a special part of our family.

Over these past 3 years of owning Scruffy and coming in contact with other dogs one thing has become so clear, the importance to chose a GOOD breeder, a breeder who genuinely cares about their dogs, their health, nutrition, temperament and well being, and will do their utmost to make sure that their dogs have  not only the best start, but best life in a happy home. I feel so thankful that we did find that 'GOOD' breeder at Manorborn.

They are truly wonderful dogs, who if you put in the time are so easy to train and willing to please. I have had more positive comments about Scruffy than I can ever remember, and she has helped quite a few adults and children I know ,overcome their fear of dogs.

Thank you once again, and keep up the good work, we need breeders like you!!

Lots of love
Dawn, Mark, Grace, Lily and May and of course Scruffy xx

Hi Julie and Rai,

I just thought I'd send you some gorgoeus pictures of the delightful, yet still naughty, Toby and Bertie. They are both so gorgeous but different in their little ways. They're still getting into mischief, as you know, and also thanks for all the advice you've given me since their last escapade.  It means so much that you're both there for me even though I've had Toby for over two years, Thank goodness I can ring you!

Bertie is much better now and back to his usual mischievous self, he is so clever, he isn't called Bertie Houdinikins for nothing. Toby stands watch while Bertie does the deed, they also share the proceeds of whatever they've done. They also have a new game, a cross between hide and seek and 'tig'. It's so funny to watch.

They're still turning heads as they are so stunning to look at. The vet who treated Bertie thought he was fabulous, I gave him your contact number, I hope you don't mind.
I've sent you a copy of my favourite photos, hope you like them.

Thanks again for being such caring breeders, I must bring them back for a visit, maybe in summer.

Elizabeth

Hi Rai, Lily is amazing.

She is really bright and easy to train, has a lovely temperament and rarely barks.  Her party trick is a high five, which she has been doing almost since we picked her up.  Kids love it and adults find it hysterical.  She is great on the lead and when off the lead almost always comes back when called (unless she has found a new friend to play with, and then it may take a few attempts or the shake of her treat bag).  Lily is so much fun and we can't imagine life without her.   She relishes every new experience and gives us so much pleasure.  One of the nicest things is the smiles she gets from passers by.   Everyone should get a Lily, we have fallen in love with ours.  And what a stunner!

Regards

Sheral

Hi Rai

I will keep in touch and let you know how he does in the puppy classes at the moment he is learning how to 'wait' and then recall.

Thanks for our great dog!!

Dear Rai,

We absolutely adore Barney, he is the most relaxed little thing and is
absolutely delightful.  He has been a complete tonic for Antonia.  In
fact if you ever hear of anyone who is thinking of getting a puppy
because they have a sick child, please do put them in touch with me
because I will tell them that it is the best medicine ever.  Antonia
hadn't smiled for months before he came and now she is so in love and
happy, even though she is still very ill.  This has therefore made us
all much happier.

He had his first puppy training class this morning, and did let
himself down by doing a poop on the floor, oops.  However, all was forgiven
by the trainer.  We have been doing lots of fun training at home over
the past few weeks and already he can Sit, Down, Off and Stay which as
far as we are concerned makes him the most intelligent pup ever.

All in all, getting Barney is one of the best decisions we have ever
made.  He is the cutest most wonderful dog ever and we love him
dearly.

Thank you Rai and Julie for providing us with such a gorgeous little puppy

With kind regards
Cecily

He is about 17 inches high to his shoulder now so quite a big boy.  what a handsome boy!!

Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know how (scruffy ) now Honey is getting a long. I would just like to say what a fantastic cross in looks and more important temperament she has , She is the most well ajusted laid back  puppy we have had or known! It has only been a week but it feels like she's been part of our family for ever and can't imagine life without her. We always wanted 2 dogs as we have always had 2 and have been looking this week for a playmate with no luck. Our biggest mistake was not bringing ollie. her litter brother back with us and it's just a shame you don't live nearer or he would be snuggling up with her tonight. Im trying to think of a way to get him without having to drive all that way even asking relatives if they are passing in the next few days!!!! Will keep in touch, very soon if I can get someone to come and collect Ollie! Let me know if you have any ideas

Dear  Juile

Ruby is going on so well; already she feels a part of the family.

Everyone comments on what a beautiful dog she is and has such a lovely temperament. She has coped amazingly well over Christmas with lots of different people coming and going. We are nearly there with toilet training – we only have a few accidents in the house now. She had her first lot of injections and worming treatment (we have carried on using Drontal as you advised) today – the vet thinks she has got a poodle temperament!

She will sit and lay to command most of the time – she is a pleasure to train – we are looking forward to taking her to classes – I expect we will both really enjoy it!

Happy New Year!

Regards

Mark, Dawn and Girls xx

Hi Julie,

Thanks for the e-mail, its so useful having such ready advice at hand

I know I’ve sent some up-to-date photos, but managed to get these of Ruby this evening and couldn’t resist sending them on (sorry it’s a bit blurred). She managed to get a good comfy chair in Grace’s car seat – it was so amusing watching her!

Feel free to post it on your site if you want to.

Hope the flooding is subsiding in your foundations – it really is rather wet at the moment isn’t it?

Warmly Mark, Dawn and family

Hi, Julie

Just a quick update to let you know how ‘Celt’ is getting on.

He’s doing fine great temperament and very very laid back

He’s had his vaccinations and has been out to the big world! And seems to attract a lot of attention and even more questions as to what type of dog he is.

Have included some photos in the attachments for you to use on the website.

 Regards

Aled

Hi Julie,

Minnie, as she is known, she is absolutely fine and sends lots of love.  She is lying here affectionately chewing the head off a stuffed replica mallard!

Very much loved by all the family particularly our youngest who was 6 this weekend.  The two spend a lot of time rolling on the floor together  Still rather full of bounce - its a job to keep her excitement under control when anyone comes in through the gate and she is begining to try the postman's patience - but is slowly getting more mature (on which topic she had her first season over christmas - probably her last too I'm afraid).  Very good  with all the family.

Hope life with your real babies is everything you would want it to be Thanks Brewer Family

Hi Julie

So sorry we took so long to contact you. what with xmas, new year, two family birthdays and various colds going around it is mayhem!!

Charlie is absolutely lovely, and right from the beginning he fitted in well with the family. He is very confident and apart from his first night when he cried a little he has settled down to a great routine. He has socialised with a friends puppy already and we all had a great time watching them play.

He has completed all his injections now and we cant wait to take him out, i don't think we will get that far as even in pets world people were stopping us to tell us how gorgeous he is!!!

We are really bad at taking pictures but i have now set the girls a task so that we can send you some ASAP. He has grown so much since you saw him.

Happy new year to you to, i see from your website that you might be on the move soon . i wish you lots of luck with that.

looking forward to hearing from you

Take care love to all your lovely family

At last, a few minutes for a quick update on Ruby!
She really is one of the family and has been from the minute she trotted through the door on 21st December!  The children adore her and she loves them too!
I am desperately looking for puppy classes to take her too - she is so quick to learn and I think she would really enjoy the social side!
We had a wonderful playdate last weekend with my freinds 8 month old Jack Russell called Nellie.  It was so lovely to watch them play fighting around the garden!  Ruby cant wait to see Nellie again.  She is very friendly and greets everyone she meets with much enthusiasum and is begining to get into the walk around the village routine!
Have attached some photos, they were taken at the begining of January - will send some more recent ones soon!
Thank you so much for our wonderful Ruby.
Best wishes, Joanne, Spencer, Alice, Arthur and Nancy Hannam

Hi Julie,

Banjo has settled into his new family very quickly. He is an absolute joy, everything we wanted and more.

As you will see from the attached photo he is besotted with our Klaus, our schnauzer, and follows him everywhere. He  loves exploring his surroundings and is already  attending the puppy group at our local vets, making lots of new friends.

His  training is going  incredibly well, already he knows fetch and sit (not bad for 8 weeks)

Some times he is frighteningly intelligent. He is learning house training, using puppy pads, and is doing very well. Admittedly sometimes he will only have his front paws on the pad, so things may be next to rather than on, but that's good enough for me.  The other night he ran into the kitchen, picked up his pad and dragged it into the lounge. He then placed it next to an accident and then sat there as if to say "well it's next to so I still deserve my praise".

We'll keep in touch with his progress.

Many Thanks

Zoe

Hello Julie

Bramble is about 13 weeks now. She went to a puppy party and met some friends and even got a chew! Starts puppy training beginning of March but already knows sit, heel, come and wait. tea towels is getting there. She loves her walks over the fields and is that good she has time off lead. She can be bouncy at times to great affect when reaching to pull at things high up so find socks, teatowels in her wake. She loves people which is good because she gets a pat from all she meets who I then have to explain what she is. She is adorable and a little rogue at times but we all love her. Sending pictures. Wish you all well in your future attended move.

Kind Regards

Bev, David and boys and especially Bramble XX

Hi Julie

Ruby has certainly settled in and is like one of the family – she really is adorable, and on the whole a little gem, who tries so hard to be good. She is 15 weeks now and just over 13inches to the shoulder, with very long legs!

She started puppy obedience classes last week – she was very excited at meeting the other pups – I think it will be very good for her.

She had her first long car journey in her puppy crate, down to Marks parents – she was as good as gold, considering we were in a different place and had to contend with their 13 year old spaniel!

She is very sociable and loves seeing people. The girls adore her and its great to see a good relationship blossoming – now Ruby’s quite big she really can’t get away with jumping up at May – she sends her flying – Thankfully on the whole May is not bothered!

She enjoyed the snow we had the other week, although doesn’t like going out in the rain!

Pigs ears seem to be a firm favorite on the treats front, and it does encourage non – destructive chewing – she does like to chew!!

Hope you like the pictures – you’re welcome to post them on your site.

Signed up to the doodle club forum – looks interesting!

Be in touch

Dawn

Hi Julie,

Yes I got your last message, thank you. He's lovely and quite lively at times. He's also very quick to learn. He went on his newspaper spot after missing a few times yesterday. I gave him a couple of his buttons of food and said good boy. Within half an hour he'd gone twice again and nudged my leg to make me go and look! (He wanted more food).

When I peeked at him he was sleeping  outside his crate and this morning he'd been doing all sorts. Towels and covers had been taken down (which I thought were well out of the way) and chewed.

I forgot to tell you we took him to the vet on Tuesday. The vet said he was a lovely dog!

I attached a couple of photo's to show how he's settled in.
Best wishes
Elizabeth

Hi Julie, sorry it's taken so long to get back to you Darcy is keeping us very busy with his social life. it reminds me of when i was a mini cab for my children having to organize my time around all the various clubs they attended.
it's the same for him everyone wanting to meet him. at the weekend we were at Hythe in Kent his first trip to the coast and we were able to let off his lead for awhile and he stayed close even with all the distractions. he didn't mind getting his paws wet. he also goes to work with jimmy traveling around london and so he gets to pee in all the best places and all the nicest parks.
Darcy is also attending puppy classes on monday evenings and is doing very well his character shines through and the trainer is very impressed with him, she say's that he is extremely confident and happy and will be a fantastic dog her words not mine. makes you feel like a proud parent. i've attached some photo's.

hope you hear from you soon and hope all is well at your end
best wishes  Mary.xx

***********************************

Hello again Julie,

Toby is fine, in the last two days not one 'accident' in the house. A thirteen week old pup - just - and he's well, dare I say it, fully house trained. He's only been going out into the garden nearly two weeks too.  I must say we expect a couple of mistakes now and again but it's wonderful. He's such a happy, gorgeous, cheeky little pup, I've followed your advice and he has his yoghurt with his meals and loves it. He eats after us and he's not had human food. He doesn't bother us but waits quietly until it's his turn. He does like eating things in the house and garden though. He loves being outside and exploring, leaves and soil are examined regularily, the odd magazine, shoe, slipper, camera memory card etc are chewed too! He loves sticks.

I have to say we all think he's wonderful and we love him lots, he's a wonderful advert for a labradoodle and I thoroughly recommend buying one, especially from yourselves. When he got his last injection earlier this week at the vets, he was the star of the show. Lots of the vets were very interested in him, especially the ones who shoot and have labradors. They all wanted to take him home and wanted to know where we got him. They thought he was a great specimen, one said he's seen a few labradoodles but Toby was one of the best! His comment was, 'They're not all like that'

A couple of questions, what do you recommend for treats? We've been giving him buttons of his food but perhaps he'd like some variation in his diet? Also as he gets older he'll need more food, he seems to be happy with what he gets but how much do you think we should increase it?
Are his teeth still his baby teeth and when will he get his adult teeth?
Thanks again for breeding such a fantastic dog. It was well worth the long journey.

Best wishes
Elizabeth
